Zenith Investment Partners has just released its 2017 Australian Shares – Long Short Sector Review. As part of its review of funds in this sector, Zenith reaffirmed the Recommended rating of the Tribeca Alpha Plus Fund Class A – Grant Samuel Tribeca Alpha Plus Units.

In commenting on the Fund, Zenith’s report notes:

“The Fund uses an active extension strategy that typically invests 140% long and 40% short. Zenith believes the Fund’s blended process is appealing and should enable the Fund to achieve its return objectives.”

“While most fundamental managers use quantitative processes as a screening mechanism, Tribeca has incorporated it into most aspects of its investment process. Zenith believes this approach should help to eliminate the weaknesses of both approaches while amplifying their strengths.”

“Zenith believes the portfolio construction process is sound and enables Tribeca sufficient flexibility capitalise on the best long or short opportunities within a controlled framework in order to achieve the investment objectives of the Fund.”
