Grant Samuel Funds Management (GSFM) has appointed industry expert Stephen Miller to the newly created role of investment consultant. Mr Miller will be based in Sydney and report to CEO Damien McIntyre.
Mr Miller was most recently head of fixed income, managing director, and fund manager, with BlackRock Investment Management (Australia), a position he held for 14 years.
Prior to this, he spent 14 years as executive vice president, head of fixed income at Bankers Trust in Sydney and New York. He was also a research officer with The Treasury, a position he held for six years.
In the new role, Mr Miller will be assisting GSFM accelerate its positioning of Payden & Rygel and the various fixed income strategies in the institutional and retail markets.
