Jacobo Llanza

Executive Chairman of Alantra Asset Management

Jacobo Llanza has more than 35 years experience in Equity Capital Markets and Alternative Asset Management. He worked for AB Asesores Moneda in Latin America before joining Schroders Salomon Smith Barney and then Dresdner Kleinwort as Managing Director of ECM. He joined Alantra (previously named Nmás1) as partner in 2001, where he has been Managing Partner, CEO and currently Executive Chairman of Alantra Asset Management. Over the last 25 years he has been instrumental to build a mid market Pan European Asset Manager with presence in Private Equity, Active Funds, Private Debt, Infrastructure and Venture Capital, with over €16 billion in AUMs.

He is also CEO of EQMC, a leading active investing Fund which has been granted multiple international awards under his joint leadership due to its top performance. He has participated as board member in several listed companies in the Spanish Stock Exchange.

Jacobo Llanza holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration by the University of Paris (Sorbonne).
